*Blog Twin* post number 2

My friend, the hugely talented illustrator Bridget Farmer, and I are doing a blog collaboration, every so often we send each other an image which the recipient will react to with their own image, then the results will be posted on both of our blogs.
The top image was sent to me by Bridget just with the title 'wet pavement at night'. My image below is a hipstamatic photo of bits and bobs on my bench last week when I was designing and making new work.

Jewellery on Unconsumption blog

My Re-Found Brooch #2 has been blogged on the 'creative refuse' blog Unconsumption, voted by TIME magazine last month as one of the 30 must see Tumblr blogs!

Klohn Brooch front and back...

This brooch from about 2004 sits on our mantel piece at home. I made it from a butter paddle hence the ridges back.

I went to Poland for the opening of Contemporary British Jewellery at Galerii Bielak in Krakow which my work was featured in. Fellow jewellers Katy Hackney and Yoko Izawa came over too. These pictures are bringing back lovely memories...
